This Collaboration Case Note describes TAI efforts to understand how data is used to fight corruption in Nigeria, the barriers faced by different actors in these efforts, and how best to support these efforts. The TAI Secretariat and members co-designed and led a scoping trip in Nigeria that involved workshops and interviews with government actors and CSOs. This collaboration yielded multi-member investments in project and learning work in Nigeria, among other results. Findings suggest that the thematic problem was defined too broadly and too late in the process. And the delegation’s high level of involvement was found to be unsustainable for future efforts.
