Announcing TAI Photo Grant Winner

We now have a winner for the maiden edition of our photo grant competition. The winner*, a theoretical physicist, film director, and videographer from Russia with over 10 years of experience, was selected out a talented pool of 143 applicants across the world.

The winner of the photo grant competition will receive an $8,000 grant to produce pictures related to the themes of government and corporate transparency and accountability.

The pictures will explore transparency and accountability nuances in the extractive and healthcare sector and topics around beneficiary ownership. They will also reflect reasons and consequences of the transfer of state institutions to private individuals as it affects cities, unauthorized transfer of rural equipment to private ownership, weak regulations, healthcare reforms, and the critical impact of industrial plants on the environment.

All the pictures will be available for use under the Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
